Valeo Constructions’ core business is the design and construction of new residential and commercial buildings.

We believe our expertise and track record in construction, combined with cutting edge design services and fast track programs, will ensure the successful delivery of each project.

We are predominantly active in the medium density residential accommodation market, providing entry level home ownership or investment accommodation in the form of boutique apartment developments.

We provide consultative services such as designers, architects and engineers to complete the design process and then deliver the actual construction through to completion.

The same principles of excellence that Valeo Construction has adopted in all projects since our establishment are still our priority today – our aim is to be ‘hands on’ with detailed participation in all areas of development and construction. The result of which is successful results for all stake holders.

Our guiding principles are to work with our clients on the basis of competitive fixed cost contracts, guaranteed completion dates, quality construction and effective maintenance servicing. The strength of our company is our commitment to quality, dedication to our clients and on-going education of both management and staff.

Valeo Construction contracts value range is $10,000,000 to $60,000,000. Valeo Construction is registered under The Department of Transport (CSR Registered) for the categories of Commercial Refurbishment, New Commercial Construction, and Office Fit out.

Our People

The team of professionals at Valeo Construction have been handpicked to provide knowledge and exceptional service to our clients.  From the office personnel to site staff and management, each staff member has experience in and a love for the construction industry.  Our personnel come from all areas of the construction industry and customer service delivery; some with trade backgrounds, others with tertiary qualifications and others are registered builders in their own right.  When we look for staff we look for high calibre people who are committed to customer service delivery, with a passion for building excellence.

Valeo has been nominated and won a number of awards. Including the Belle House of the year 2015 and Best Residential Interior for the Hampton ‘Concrete House’ as well as several nominations for the MBAV Excellence in Construction awards.

In the prestigious HIA-Cordell Australia’s Top 100 Non-Residential Construction Companies report for 2014/2015, Valeo continued its significant growth by rising to No.53 with value of construction over the $200 million mark.

“We write to congratulate Valeo on the successful completion of two of our recent projects, MODE South Yarra and 211 Dorcas Street South Melbourne (39 and 28 apartments respectively].

From the tender stage, Valeo sought to understand our product, customer base and project intentions. Throughout the building period they were pro active and effective in decision making. Both projects were a success for a I parties, and the expected standards of finish were met to an exceptional level.

Noteworthy benefits of working with Valeo included:

  • Valeo always provided a reliable, an approachable and trusted working relationship
  • Valeo adapted well to changes in project requirements whilst effectively controlling costs (an example being the re design of the penthouse level in MODE)
  • Valeo undertook value management processes to meet project cost objectives, whilst remaining conscious of the quality and design finish   expectations
  • Valeo understood the importance of key sales and in marketing design features and worked closely with the client to meet such objectives (an example being the unique MODE breakfast bars)
  • Valeo worked to resolve challenging site and building constraints (an exam p e being the basement re-design and construction methodology at Dorcas Street as a result of foundation issues)

The feedback from buyers was overwhelmingly positive and the settlement period ran smoothly which can, in part, be attributed to the quality of finish. Defects were minimal and all were completed prior to handover.
